The Story Behind Soka3D
Every name has a story. Mine starts with Ahsoka—or Soka, as I call her—my dog, companion, and the inspiration behind Soka3D.
When I started Soka3D, I wanted to create more than just things made on a 3D printer. I wanted to take ideas, photographs, memories, and everyday needs and turn them into something real—something you can hold, use, display, give, and keep.
Naming the company after Soka felt natural. She has been an important part of my life, and her name represents the kind of personal connection I want to put into the things I create. As Soka3D began taking shape, her name came to represent something more:
S.O.K.A.
Snapshots. Of the people, pets, and moments we never want to forget.
Occasions. That bring us together and become part of our story.
Keepsakes. That turn those memories into something we can hold onto.
Art. That transforms an idea into something unique and personal.
Sometimes that means turning a favorite photograph into a personalized keepsake that preserves a special memory. Sometimes it's creating a one-of-a-kind gift for someone you care about. And sometimes it's designing a practical object that solves a problem or simply makes everyday life a little better.
Whatever I'm creating, my goal is the same: make it personal, make it meaningful, and make it well.
Welcome to Soka3D—a small business inspired by my dog Ahsoka and built around creating things that mean something to the people who receive them.
Snapshots. Occasions. Keepsakes. Art.
Ideas. Layer by Layer. Built for Real Life.
